Sweet Bonanza is a tumble slot with no paylines

Symbols land on a 6x5 grid of fruit and sweets, and a win forms when eight or more matching symbols sit anywhere on the grid. Paylines and ways do not apply. After each win, the paying symbols vanish, the remaining symbols drop into the gaps and new ones fill the top. This tumble repeats with no set limit until no new win forms. Every win from one spin is added to the balance together.

Four or more scatter symbols anywhere on the grid trigger 10 free spins on their own reel strips. Three or more scatters during the round add 5 more spins. Multiplier symbols appear only in this round, with values from 2x to 100x. At the end of a tumble sequence, the multipliers on the grid are added together and multiply that sequence's win.

Five stages

Sweet Bonanza, one round from bet to balance

Most worries are about what a spin costs and when the bonus starts, and this part settles both.

  1. Same grid, bigger bet

Each spin deals a 6x5 grid at the stake you picked, anywhere from A$0.20 up to A$240, and every win is paid against that same bet.

  2. Sweet Bonanza, eight matches needed

Eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid form a win, with no paylines. The count is checked at the end of each spin and tumble step.

  3. Base game, no multipliers

A paying group vanishes from the grid, the rest drop down to refill it, and the tumble repeats until no new win forms. Multipliers stay out of the base game.

  4. Can three scatters extend the round?

Four or more scatters on the grid start the round with 10 free spins. Three or more scatters during it add 5 more spins.

  5. Does each spin draw from balance?

Every spin on the grid takes the bet from your balance, so set a budget before the first spin and stop once it is gone.

Four round types

Four scatters on the grid, and the feature starts

At S99 Casino we spell out each round's rules before you start.

Land four scatters to start

Four or more SCATTER symbols land anywhere on the 6x5 grid and start the round with 10 free spins. Three or more scatters during the round retrigger for 5 extra free spins. Only this round shows MULTIPLIER symbols with a random value of 2x-100x.

Starting the bonus at once

The reels move straight into the free spins when you press Buy Feature, and 10 free spins are awarded whatever the purchase bet level. The button is greyed out while the Ante Bet toggle is on.

Count matching symbols anywhere

Symbols land on the 6x5 grid, and a win forms from the total count of one symbol anywhere. Winning symbols are paid and removed, and the rest fall. Tumbles repeat with no cap until no wins occur, and all wins from one base spin add to the balance.

Each spin on the reels costs 1.25 times the bet while the Ante Bet toggle is on in the left-hand panel. The toggle is the Double Chance to Win Feature, and it disables the Buy Feature button while on.

Check the figure in the rules first

RTP is the share of each staked amount paid back over a long run. The table reads per A$100 staked. The version in this lobby is shown in the game rules.

Two modes compared

Sweet Bonanza demo versus real money

Settles what the demo can and cannot show you, and what real play asks of you.

Each spin in the demo costs nothing and pays nothing. The real game needs an account here and you must be 18 or older.

Play for real

Can the maximum win land on a single spin?

Each spin fills the 6x5 grid with a new set of symbols, and the scatters that open free spins can show up on any spin or not at all. How often the bonus round comes is not known in advance. The result of one session is random whatever the RTP, so a long run of dead spins and a short run of big wins are both possible.

Every spin on the reels follows one RTP version, and the version in use is shown only in the game rules. Read those rules before you start, because the two versions pay back different amounts over time.

Tumbles and multipliers can stack one win into a very large total, yet the maximum win is a ceiling reached very rarely. No spin is guaranteed to get near it, and the ceiling is not a payout target.

Six answers below

When you are weighing up a first session

Useful before your first spin, when you are checking the bet range, the bonus cost or the maximum win.

How volatile is the Sweet Bonanza slot?

Sweet Bonanza has medium volatility, which places it between low and high volatility games. Wins do not come in a steady stream, and no one can predict when the next one lands. The volatility figure describes the game's pattern, not a result you can count on.

What are the Sweet Bonanza bet limits?

The bet range runs from A$0.20 to A$240 per spin. The bets used in the examples on this page, such as A$0.50, A$1 and A$10, are only examples and do not set the limits. Bet size also changes the cost of the Ante Bet and the Buy Feature.

Can you buy the bonus in Sweet Bonanza?

Yes. The Buy Feature starts the free spins round directly, for 100 times the bet, and always gives 10 free spins. The Ante Bet is an optional toggle that costs 1.25 times the bet and turns the Buy Feature off while it is on.

How does Sweet Bonanza differ from other versions?

Each version in the series has its own RTP and maximum win, so the versions do not pay the same. Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter has the highest maximum win of the series. Check the version name before you load the game.

What is the maximum win in Sweet Bonanza?

The top win is 21,100 times the bet. At the example bet of A$10 that is A$211,000, and at the top bet of A$240 it is A$5,064,000. Bigger bets raise the cash value of a win, but not the multiplier.

How do I get free spins in Sweet Bonanza?

Land four or more SCATTER symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid to start a round of 10 free spins. During the round, three or more scatters add 5 more free spins. The Multiplier symbol appears only in that round.
